Land
Anyone can enter Nova miningverse for free and start staking NMV tokens or buying Mining Guardians NFTs. However active players will also have the option to purchase special land collateralized with real Bitcoin mining hashrate.
The special land has random properties that will help active players navigate the game and earn more NMV, experience and get a higher APR.
A world to interact with both other players and ‘yourself’. Each parcel has different characteristics in terms of costs, risks, potential rewards to find, time to mine, relief, etc.
Each land may be fully customizable by the user, obtaining potential benefits from this customization for the in-game function as well as for the PvP ones.
In the Nova miningverse there are different layers down. Depending on the characteristics of the land and the users' equipment different resources can be found.
Each layer has different probabilities of extraction success, depending on factors such as heat, pressure, surface composition, etc....
Better conditions and probabilities of successful extraction on the land will be reflected in the selling price of the land parcels, due to the profitability and profit potential achievable in case of improving the mining equipment.
These are all the layers that you can find:
- Lithosphere (Layer 1): The lithosphere is the rocky outer part of the Earth. It is made up of the brittle crust and the top part of the upper mantle. The lithosphere is the coolest and most rigid part of the Earth where you can find primary resources: clay and stones.
- Asthenosphere (Layer 2): The asthenosphere is a layer (zone) of Earth's mantle lying beneath the lithosphere. It is a layer of solid rock that has so much pressure and heat the rocks can flow like a liquid. Here you can find primary resources more frequently than in the layer above.
- Mesosphere (Layer 3): The mesosphere is 1,802 miles (2,900 km), it is the largest layer of Nova miningverse. Mesosphere material is hot (932 to 1,652 degrees Fahrenheit, 500 to 900 degrees Celsius) and dense and moves as semi-solid rock. This gave to the user more probabilities of obtaining Iron in this layer than in layers above.
Default equipment in the extraction of minerals in this layer can result in additional damage to the equipment in addition to the loss of part of the materials collected in previous layers. Accessible with default equipment may result in loss or damage and incur a partial loss of the resources obtained in layers above.
- Outer Core (Layer 4): The outer core reaches between 7,200 and 9,000 degrees Fahrenheit (4,000 and 5,000 degrees Celsius) and is estimated to be 1,430 miles (2,300 km) thick. It is the movement of the liquid within the outer core that generates Nova miningverse magnetic field. Inaccessible without premium equipment. Remains of Bitcoin, Novas, Gems and Magnesium can be found in this layer.
Accessibility to the next layer (Inner Core) is possible but may result in loss or damage and incur a partial loss of the resources obtained in layers above.
- Inner Core (Layer 5): The inner core is the hottest part of Nova miningverse, at temperatures between 9,000 and 13,000 degrees Fahrenheit (5,000 and 7,000 degrees Celsius). This solid layer is smaller than our Moon at 750 miles (1,200 km) thick and is composed mostly of iron. The iron is under so much pressure from the overlying planet that it cannot melt and stays in a solid state. Inaccessible without VIP equipment to support these high temperatures. Chances of finding NVM tokens, iron and rocks are much higher than in layer before.
- Nova Formation (Layer 6): It is the only layer on the planet where you can get NVM tokens. Due to the conditions of the previous layers, you need to have a premium extraction equipment. Unaccesible without VIP equipment. Nova Extractor Required for these layers. Also Bircoin, Gems and Magnets can be founded.
- Bitcoin Core Reserve (Layer 7): Deepest layer of Nova miningverse. Here you can only access the newest equipment. Given the extreme heat and pressure conditions, the R&D team has not been able to create equipment that lasts more than a month, so if you want to reach this layer you will have to buy equipment in the auction area and renew it every month.
